My roommate and I have known each other since high school and we are the only two from our high school that go to UK. We are very close since we came to this big city. She and I have two very different experiences with this virus. I was luckily able to quarantine in the comfort of my own home. Unfortunately, my roommate didn't have the chance to come back to town like me since we have don't have the same living situations, so she was not able to quarantine at her house, so she stayed with a friend that also had corona. She only had symptoms on the what we think was the third day of having corona. She was very drowsy. She had a fever. She had no appetite. Her body was aching. After the first couple days, she was asymptomatic. I was pretty much the complete opposite. The first couple days we think we had it, I felt fine. No fever and no headache. After I was in quarantine on the first day, I lose sense of my taste and smell. I had no appetite. I was very nauseous. I had a headache and the back of my eyes were sore. I was very drowsy. I have never felt worse in my life. I even had a couple breakdowns which is rare of me. Quarantine really was the hardest part for me because I couldn't be with my friends and I had to stay away from my mom so she didn't get it.

The Back Story and the Details
Now the first thing you might assume about a college kid who gets corona is a party animal who wasn't safe about not getting it. You would in fact be wrong. While I did hang out with friends while being at school, I don't think that's how I got it. I believe the culprit would be my roommate. We both tested positive for the virus, but didn't have symptoms on the same day. She had symptoms before me and she came in contact with someone who had COVID-19 (but didn't know at the time) when she went home for the weekend then came back to school. I pretty much was going to be exposed no matter what, it was unavoidable pretty much. When you live together in a college dorm together, it's hard to not be exposed.
